Volunteers

Volunteers are key to every race. Without them we couldn't pull off a successful and fun race. Come be a member of our racing family, help support your local community and earn credit towards future races at the same time. Volunteer and earn $5 per event or day volunteered towards any of the future races we are hosting. Volunteer credits earned are transferrable, so bring your friends to earn you free races!

Volunteers are always needed for the following positions:

• Setup - This usually takes place the morning of the race and can be as early as 3 hours prior to the race start. This involves putting up tents, cones in the road, setting up the parking area, setting up water stops, putting our mile markers, etc. There is a lot to accomplish and we can always use your help.
• Registration - This involves manning the registration table, helping participants get their race packets and registering new runners.
• On-Course Volunteers - Come help the race go smoothly. Man a water station, direct racers along the course, help get everyone parked, hand out food at the finish line. There are a host of opportunities you can help with.
• Cleanup and Start/Finish Area Breakdown - Help us clean up the mess afterwards. We want to leave the race site and course just as we found it, or in better shape. We need help collecting garbage, breaking down tents and equipment, and generally wrapping everything up.

In order to receive your race credit, you must check-in and check-out with the volunteer coordinator and give them your name, birthdate, phone number, and email so you can be issued race credit. Also, if you are volunteering to earn race credit for a friend or family member, please give the volunteer coordinator their information as well so the credit can go to their account. Race credits are cumulative and never expire, so volunteer all you want and use them as desired.

Set-up, Registration and Clean-up can be done even if you are racing. You can also bring friends and family to volunteer while they watch you race and earn you race credits. We are always looking for good setup help.
